This challenge originated in 2001 and includes 30 fire towers.  In order to qualify for the patch and complete the challenge, hikers must hike the 5 Catskills fire towers and 18 of the towers located in the Adirondacks.

Most of the Catskill 3500s and Adirondack 46ers will fall under the category of "full day hike".  We're happy to take you our for the day to help you accomplish your  goal, whatever that may be.  If you don't have any specific hikes in mind, but know you are ready to take your hiking to the next step, we're here to help you do it!

 Ready to test your navigation skills?  Maybe you're ready to dive into those map and compass skills, but you're not ready to head out into the middle of the backcountry alone.  Our guides are not only great navigators, but they love exploring off the beaten path.  We're here to get you out there and help you learn the skills you need to feel confident off trail.

Let us help you experience a sunrise or sunset from up high! There is noting more spectacular than watching the sun rise or set from the top of a mountain.  Regardless of your pace, we can find the right hike to get you there!

The Scenic Route loves a good party!  Whatever the occasion, we can make it special.  Want to bring your group to a scenic overlook for some snowshoeing, a campfire and S'mores?  We got you covered!  Keep an eye open for our holiday events.

We have the gear you need as well as the expertise.  We will get you out on a 1, 2, or 3 night camping trip to teach you the basics of setting up camp, staying in a tent or lean-to, preparing and storing food safely to avoid interactions with wildlife, and camping etiquette 

This option is popular with hikers who don't want to feel rushed to get back to the parking area after completing their hike in the high peaks.  This price includes two full days of hiking and an overnight.  Breakfast and dinner are included.
